ExtremeEase Software releases Help Authoring Software.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – May 10, 2006 – ExtremeEase Software Inc., a provider of in-place editing, upload-anytime-anywhere Help authoring software, has announced the release of its flagship product, HelpConsole 2006. This new product provides technical writers powerful, yet easy-to-use tools for creating web-based help systems, online product manuals, product demos, FAQs, and Knowledgebase articles.

James Dean, President of ExtremeEase says “When we set out to develop a solution for technical writers of Help Systems, our extensive research told us that what writers really needed most was the ability to create and maintain product documentation directly from their website, thereby simplifying the whole process of not only writing a Help system, but also uploading and maintaining that content. HelpConsole 2006 sets a new standard for simplicity and speed in how technical writers develop Help systems”.

One of the first companies to take advantage of HelpConsole 2006 was ProductPath Software, a maker of collaborative software for product development. James Dizon, Director of ProductPath says “Our technical writer does double-duty as one of our developers. With HelpConsole, our writer was able to reduce the amount of time she spends on our manuals by over 50%, a huge time benefit since we were able to shift her back on development”.

Feature highlights of HelpConsole 2006 include:
• Web-based authoring environment
• Unique “in-place” editing
• True WYSIWYG Interface
• Drag & Drop Page Management
• Security management

Availability and Pricing
HelpConsole 2006 is available now, direct from ExtremeEase Software, either as installed perpetual software or as software-as-a-service; pricing is $99 for the perpetual software and $20 per month for the service product.
