Upgrading from HelpConsole 2007

Follow the instructions below to upgrade from HelpConsole 2007 to HelpConsole 2008.

1. As a precaution, backup any active HelpConsole 2007 help projects.

2. Refer to "Installing the Software" to install HelpConsole 2008

3. Copy any HelpConsole 2007 projects to HelpConsole 2008. This can be done by backing up the project in HelpConsole 2007 and then clicking 'upload' on the 'manage projects' form in HelpConsole 2008.

4. The first time that a HelpConsole 2007 project is opened in HelpConsole 2008, you'll be asked to upgrade the project to work with HelpConsole 2008. Once this is done, the project can no longer be opened in HelpConsole 2007.
